Bridget is ayoung feminist and environmental activist and has been working on issues in the area of women's rights, climate change, sustainable development and leadership training for over 10 years. For six of those years she has worked at the Women's Environment and Development Organization (WEDO), currently as the Director of Advocacy and Communications.

Bridget spends much of her time as a advocate, through policy and campaigning, for a most just and sustainable world, with women's human rights and gender equality at its core. She also works on programs promoting women's leadership in this area, as well as supporting platforms for young feminists to engage in environmental justice issues.

A lifelong feminist, activist and older sister, Bridget is very passionate about the importance of mentorship and leadership development, particularly for young women. She speaks on the subject at workshops and on panels, most often with a focus on what it is to be a leader in the 21st century, particularly in the context of climate change and sustainable development. She is very proud to have worked at the Eleanor Roosevelt Leadership Center on their Girls Leadership Worldwide program, coordinated on the LEAD International Fellows Training program, recieved certfication as a TSTEY Youth Trainer in 2008 and, in her current work at WEDO, to run the Women Delegates Fund and coordinate activities on young women's leadership for sustainable development.

Bridget graduated from Marist College in 2007 and has a Master's Degree in Gender, Development and Globalisation from the London School of Economics.

In her free time, she enjoys playing the harp, theatre, traveling the world, drinking wine and eating good food.
