Bridget Lockie

I am a senior in high school currently living in Western Springs, Illinois. I am looking forward to taking my next step academically, as I plan to pursue a college education come August of 2018. In school, I have held leadership positions in Student Board, Campus Ministry, school newspaper, tennis, various honors societies, and more. Throughout my four years at Nazareth Academy, I have earned and maintained a steady grade point average with continuous A Honor Roll recognition. A class that has sparked my interest this year was Economics. In Economics class, my classmate and I formulated a unique business idea and plan, and created a public website from scratch. My worldly experience is not confined to my high school, as my past job experiences include sports camp counselor, and digital media/public relations intern for a beverage distribution company, and I am currently a sales associate for a local boutique. In the future, I look forward to pursuing studies in history, particularly with a focus in political science. Although I am not 100% decided on a future career, I do have some interest in secondary education or a career in the law field.
