Hi, I'm graphic designer, photographer and distracted mountaineer.

I've been designing in one form or another ever since I left school. And probably before that when I used to draw my own comics. Whilst at art college, in Liverpool, I studied design & landscape photography and loved it.

Being a designer has kept me in food, shoes & tea for the last 20 years. In that time, I've worked with some great people and great brands including Reader's Digest, Disney, Sony, Unilever and the BBC. I've worked as the head of design for the Crossrail project and am currently a design director with Oliver Agency.

When not slaving over a hot Macbook, I can usually be found wandering over the hills of the Lake District, The Peak District or the Scottish mountains with my rucksack, climbing gear, camera and waterproofs (...it is the UK after all).
