Hi, I’m Allison! I’m a wife to an awesome man, mother of two dogs (and hopefully human children some day), an enthusiastic if sporadic homemaker, and a full-time third-grade teacher. My school often feels like it will take over my life, and while I love what I do, I also know that a happy teacher is a good teacher. My goal in writing this blog is to remind myself about and embrace all the things that make me who I am—outside of my classroom.
