Hi fellow MENSAN!, I’m BRILIAN. I’m a contemplating highly-enthusiast-in-film-music-fragrance maniac and slightly-like-to-golf-for-once-in-a-while. Oh, also a part-time student, living in Surabaya, Indonesia.

I’ve been introspecting myself on what I want to be for years. Did my own self assessment, I decided to hold my study for a while and start a business. Given that I’m not really a fans of accepting orders and “repetitive-pattern-corporatic“ work style.

While it’s all fun and games when you have an autonomous operating company, starting a new one from scratches isn’t as easy as a pie. I’ve been working night and days on a plenty business projects. From learning on how to create a perfume and looking to start a fragrance company, a customized car fragrance, then looking to start a niche waxed canvas backpack, all didn’t executed after my in-depth research for each of it.

There was however, a BRILIAN(sic) business opportunity once. I started a hairstyling product brand. It was an innovation back then, a blue sea ocean where there isn‘t any competitor and surely will be a hit. I had to learn the product formula, seek a manufacture company, create a brand right with it’s license and learn the cosmetics regulations, designed a custom bottle and pack, defined the brand identities, designed the promotions and tailored every word in every sentences to match the brand identities, create an afterpurchase service, etc, all just to be failed miserably. I had to total recall all my products because of the flaws in the neck of the bottles which didn’t properly sealed and always leaking when turned upside down. It was a single decision error that cost me everything, all because of my lack of experience.

Been few years late with my current study because I had to put aside my thesis. Hopefully I’ll BOUNCE BACK ON WORKING MY BACHELOR THESIS FIRST this time then START A BUSINESS AGAIN SOON after. Hell, I’ve been researching what might be the next BRILIAN(sic) idea if you wonder:)

I’ve spent my so-called ”failed tokens” and learnt from my mistakes in the recent years, now surely it would be a success next time isn’t it?
