The date was August 30, 2010, I was setting out on my life's big dream...to move across the continental US, from Indiana to California. I had been dreaming of this moment since I was a kid. But life has a tendancy to lead you down different paths along the way, however, it was finally time...time to put my foot on the pedal and drive and it just proved that you're never too old to dream. ~A Dancers Life~ Martha Graham said it best when she stated, "Dancers are not great because of their technique, they are great because of their passion". Of course I've had technical training since I was 5 years old, but it wasn't until middle school that I realized dance was my truest passion. Since moving to Los Angeles I've had the opportunity to work with LA based dance companies, LA Unbound & Sypher Elite; as well as, Australian tap dance company, Beats Per Minute. I have also become a member of Cherry Poppins, a Comedy Caburlesque group, performing at venues around the LA area! My formal training began in Indianapolis at the age of 5. I had trained in many different styles, and eventually graduated from Ball State University with a dance performance major. Upon graduation I returned to Indianapolis to teach for my home studio and became involved in choreography for the Indianapolis Colts Cheerleaders and the Indianapolis Jr. Colts Cheerleaders. As well, as choreographing for area high school competition teams and dance clinics. Along with stage performances, I have also been involved in print and commercial work since the age of 7. Working with a casting director in Indianapolis (Artistic Enterprises) for close to 20 years, where I was cast in local and regional commercials, print ads & voice over work. And in both 2008 and 2009, I was cast in two national spots for the MasterCard Priceless campaign with NFL Quarterback Peyton Manning and actress Alyson Hannigan.
