Brandon Brini
Filmmaker, Bartender, and PA Announcer in Toronto
Ciao! My name is Brandon Brini. I grew up in Montreal, Quebec before deciding to take my talents to Ryerson University in downtown Toronto. This decision changed my life forever. After two years in a Communications program at Vanier College in Montreal, I knew my ultimate goal was and still is to become a soccer colour commentator and analyst. This has been my dream since I gave up the sport due to injury, as I had professional trials in Lyon, France back in 2016.
RTA Sport Media at Ryerson has allowed me to pursue my passion for soccer while combining my ambition for content creation. This infamous decision to leave home granted me opportunities that I thought were never attainable for myself, such as becoming a colour commentator and PA announcer for the Ryerson Rams hockey & soccer teams, a sports television producer and a bartender, while receiving three scholarship awards in the process. This experience led me to commentating the Usports Women's Basketball Final 8 championship in French, for TVA Sports.
This is now my final year in school, and I am most certainly excited to see what the future holds, as it can only get better from here. I plan to eventually move to Italy to become a regular colour commentator on Sky Italia, while owning my own restaurant and travelling across Europe with my family. For the time being, I have my eyes set on the Summer Olympics in 2021, and the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America for CBC.
As I always tell myself, believe, attract, pursue, achieve. That is the mindset that can get you wherever you want in life!
