Presently, I am an assistant professor in the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development at Utrecht University. My current research focuses on mapping the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Previously, I have been an assistant professor in the Faculty ofGeo-Information Science and Earth Observation ITCat theUniversity of Twentein the Netherlands. Before that, I wasan assistant professor at theUniversity of Washington Tacomain the Department of Urban Studies where I taught primarily in theMaster of Science in Geospatial Technologies Program.
I completed a PhD in the summer of 2014 in the health geography lab at Simon Fraser University in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. I am originally from a small town in rural Maryland in the USA.
