Hello! Hola! Bonjour! I am a brand new first grade teacher! I teach in Brevard County at a brand new charter school. My school is in a low income area, so I work with a interesting and entertaining group of kids. lol ... I love being a teacher and I must say it is hard work. I also like that fact that I am starting young, because I can have dance parties with my kids and play with them outside and have races. One thing about me is that I love Disney and Pixar movies. I can watch them over and over again. For my birthday I would love the whole collection of Disney movies. lol Another things that I have gotten into is blogging due to my online class for grade school. I believe that all students have a unique purpose and can bring something special to the classroom. As an educator it is our job to guide student to meet their fullest potential by providing an environment that is safe, open to sharing of ideas, and welcoming of diverse cultures. We must give students the opportunities to generate their own ideas and set goals in the classroom. Teachers must build the curriculum so that it benefits all the students and how they learn. Children will show respect and interest for learning in the classroom when they feel safe and encouraged.
