Here it goes...this is my life, my story.

I'll get to the point relatively fast as no one wants to read a novel in an "about me" section.

First off, I am currently 26 years-old and I live in a small town in Western Kentucky. The population of the town is probably close to 5,000 and that's pushing it. I was born in this town and was raised in this town. Most people believe that people from Kentucky are just a bunch of redneck hillbillys with no teeth and we never wear shoes. Only part of that is true...in the summer time we either wear flip flops or no shoes.

So after I graduated high school I went to a community college in Paducah, Kentucky. I was there for about 2 1/2 years and received my Associate in Science and Associate in Art. Luckily, once I transfered to Murray State University my associate degrees took care of the general education classes so I could start immediately with classes that pertained to my major. Granted my major changed about six times. I finally settled on a major in Public Relations with a minor in Advertising. I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in December 2013.

As of now I am currently working on a volunteer staff for a fan convention held in LA each year. I'll be talking about that on this blog or the "Brought to You By Britt." I am also staying home to help my mom raise my two nieces.

I probably picked the wrong major since my family comes first and most of the time in the PR world there's not a lot of room for family.

One day I hope to open my own event planning business for things such as corporate/business events, non-profit events, community wide events, musical events and yes some wedding events.

My life, my story well it's just now starting to come together. I'm working on it day by day and soon I will come out on top!
