I was born and raised in Texas. The mother of three boys under eight and the wife to an amazing man. I often feel seriously outnumbered in my house (no joke, the only other females are the family dog and cat). I have a wonderful family who supports me in all my dreams and endeavors. I am a very quiet and creative soul. A lover of fresh-cut flowers, a good at-home facial, essential oils, dark chocolate, Twizzlers, my Nespresso machine, and wine. An overall devoted lover of all things skincare and bringing affordable, family-friendly decor ideas into houses everywhere.

Simply put, I love to write and create. Ravishing in Plaid was started as an avenue for these two things in 2012. But it turned into so much more. I have enjoyed nurturing my blog and getting to know my readership, as well as sharing my passion for home decor, fashion, beauty, cooking and my (sometimes crazy) family.
