As a 2012 graduate from the University of Iowa, I'm looking forward to develping my career in public relations, crisis communications, corporate communications, and public affairs. I graduated with a bachelor of arts in journalism & mass communication and political science with a minor in Spanish.

Currently I work for a corporate communications firm called Dixon-James. My day to day activities include writing and distributing press releases, developing media lists using Cision, researching different projects for client program development and assisting with media training. I'm also a member of PRSA Chicago and a volunteer for Big Brother Big Sister.

During my time at Iowa, I served as President of the Iowa PRSSA chapter, was elected Vice President of the student body and held a year long internship with the University Marketing and Communications department.

I'm a hard working, intelligent, self motivated, and passionate professional. I'd love to connect whether it's for a career opportunity or just to talk about our world and communications. Thanks!
