Hello, I’m Brittany. I am a student at Plymouth State University. I grew up in a beautiful town called Jefferson in Northern New Hampshire. I am going to college for Health Education and Promotion and I could not love my major more! Currently I am interning at the Taylor Community which is a Retirement Community with nursing and assisted living on campus.

Growing up in such a great New Hampshire town I have a wide range of hobbies. I love being outdoors any time of year. In the winter I love to snowshoe. In the summer I enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding, floating down the river, and gardening.

I am nearing graduation and have been thinking a lot about what I want for my future. Its been great getting a chance to work at the Taylor Community to get a feel for what I want to do. Working here as made me realize how much I enjoy working with this age group and how rewarding it is to be apart of a community like that.

As a health major, I have learned over the years that health is more than being in shape. Its being happy and healthy mentally and physically. I always choose to blog about topics that will be beneficial to your overall mental and physical health. I blog about outdoor activities that you can do to stay active as well as healthy food recipes. Some of my blogs are also about little things that will make you more overall healthy and happy!
