Brittany Lanzone
Brittany has had the opportunity to affect the lives and environments of people around her. Although, officially she began her love affair with design by attending The New York School of Interior Design, providing a better way of life for people through streamlining homes, and people’s way of living has been a lifelong passion. Design is not just for the elite. She believes that the world is full of intentional design, and that everyone can benefit from applying simple principles of design to their lives and family. She has lived this first hand growing up in a large family of builders that also did a lot with foster and adopt programs. She is still involved with philanthropic and volunteer efforts for under privileged children around the world today. While in school her career was jump started by working with some of today’s AD100 designers. After graduating and working in NYC she made an intentional decision to expand her knowledge and work in custom millwork and cabinetry shops giving her the technical edge that many “decorators” lack today. Flow and spatial layout, proportions of rooms, and appropriate “eclecticness” and very important aspects of her work. Probably stemming from her Midwestern roots, she has a personal flair for Bungalow Style homes and built in retreats although she truly enjoys the different era’s of design, continuing to educate herself on them. The styles and correlations of different era’s are the spices that keep her career fresh, upbeat, and new. Returning full force to the world of interior design she is focusing on the whole home as well as the design and lifestyle of the people living in them. Brittany is a member of the NKBA and is currently working on her NCIDQ license.
