Brittni Young

Brittni Young has an interest and passion to further understand the behaviors and ideas of the various cultural groups that inhabit the Earth. She is pursuing her Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a focus in Asian Studies at Texas State University in San Marcos, Tx. The behaviors and roles within the cultures on the other end of the spectrum have caught her eye seeing how this has changed from ancient history to present day modern society across Asia.

Brittni hopes to use the knowledge she gains every day to help businesses small and large effectively communicate with their consumers by understanding the consumers from the root of their being.

Brittni has worked alongside the members of Coolhead Tech in marketing. She helped to further expand the small business with her skills of inbound marketing in producing content and promoting the company through blogging and social media.

Brittni has also worked as the Web Editor for the Foghorn News at Del Mar College. As the web editor she controlled, copied and edited all content posted on the news site. In her position as Web Editor, she has used her investigative and research skills to report on various stories in entertainment news to new discoveries and debates in health and science.

In her time away from classes and work Brittni enjoys delving into the heart of Asian pop culture. She enjoys discovering international music, food and fashion as well as spending her free time watching the much addicting Korean dramas. She leads a healthy lifestyle as a vegetarian and practicing yoga.

Brittni inspires one day to use her passion and gifted talent for writing to write her own discoveries of life beyond the West.
