Welcome to one of the most rivetting, provocative, and enthralling about me pages. My name is Walker Dekle and I am from Augusta, Georgia.

I was always a kid that could never sit still or stay inside all day. This carried on as I grew up and I really appreacited how busy I had to be constanty. I did the
International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at my high school because I figured it would keep me busy at night with homework. It did this very well I always had a paper to right or a project to be doing. On top of this I had an afterschool job at a local retiail business. After school, I would go to work and work for four to five hours a day. I filled my days and it made me feel the best.

I was very active on the weekends.. I loved riding bikes, fishing at the canal by my house, and doing random projects around my house. Living in the dorms here has made me more able to relax and be okay with doing nothing.

A fun fact about me: My junior year and senior year english teacher was taught at UGA and ran our class exactly as he did his college classes. I am excited to see if this class is similar to his. The goal of the IB program was to prepare us for college, so we took college level classes. He made us read Hamlet and then we had a 20 question quote test in which we had to name the scene and act, who said it, and what the significance of it was. It was one of the hardest tests I have ever taken and I hope that I can have a better grasp on the play this time around.
