Brodrick Bassham
I am currently a Supervisor at Reynolds and Reynolds, responsible for developing and maintaining highly scalable web applications, capable of handling more than 2 million hits per day.
Development Experience
I have advanced knowledge of .Net, Visual Studio and SQL Server, including .Net 4.0 and SQL Server 2008, gained from 7 years of experience building and maintaining web and windows applications. I have been a leader supervising developers and other supervisors since 2006. In that time, two of my developers have become supervisors themselves.
I have created an inhouse web analytics solution, capable of providing real-time analytics for our customers' sites. This application uses SQL Server 2008 and data warehousing techniques to provide a responsive tool for our customers. I was the lead architect on this project, and together with my developers, coded and deployed this application successfully.
US Army Experience
I have almost 8 years experience in the US Army and US Army Reserve. During my active duty service, I started as a command paralegal for 2nd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division. After 2 years of focusing on criminal law at the battalion level, I moved to 1st Cavalry Division headquarters, taking on the role of pre-trial processing for all courts-martial for the 1st Cavalry Division. I continued this role when I was deployed to Baghdad in March of 2004. In July 2004, I was promoted to Sergeant, and took over as the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of Operational Law for the 1st Cavalry Division. As part of this position, I was tasked with coordinating and tracking security and ballot movement in Baghdad for the 1st elections in Iraq in January 2005.
In January 2007, I joined the 7th Squadron, 6th Cavalry Regiment, a US Army Reserve unit in Conroe, TX. There I continued to serve as a paralegal. In 2008, I was promoted to Staff Sergeant, and took over as the 1st Platoon Platoon Sergeant for Headquarters and Headquarters Company.
