I was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. I been singing ever since I was a little boy, which I learned from my parents. I can remember my father and I singing to old country cassettes on the way to my sports games as a child. I also have images of my mother bouncing around the house and singing to The Gap Band etched into my memory. It wasn’t until much later I even considered playing myself. I picked up a guitar when I was 14 and joined a band in high school. The band was called Cashed (The Hard Eights later on), and it consisted of myself, Carter Brown, Nick Arocho, and help from some other friends along the way. We played on through college in Flagstaff and now that we are all a little older, we decided to take our own paths. My path led me from Phoenix to Nashville to record my debut solo album and pursue my musical career.
