Brogan Ord Staunton

Hello, I’m Brogan and I’m an apprentice with the Youth Training Academy.

For months now I have worked within a number of companies. This has given me the chance to gain experience in numerous areas include directing, producing and writing. It is from this experience, I have expanded my skills, leading me to work as part of the NYFA (National Youth Film Academy) for numerous months. Recently, I have also been heavily involved with the marketing side of the NYFA, which has been an interesting process to be apart of. The experience I have gained is invaluable to getting me out there in the real world. As well as working within the NYFA, I have been gaining experience in writing for online blogs and websites. The most established website to day being "Battle Royale With Cheese" where I am on my way to becoming a regular contributor.

Ultimately, I wish to work within the film industry as a freelancer as I like the idea that I could be doing something different everyday and I can go forward with all my passions.

At 19, with managerial experience already a part of my C.V I believe I have excelled for someone only working as an apprentice for less than a year now.

Film has always been something I have been passionate about, both academically and personally.

With experience across all areas of media I believe I have enough skills and knowledge to do what I want to do within the industry.

This apprenticeship has inspired to go after what I want in life, to go after my passions and become the person I want to be.
