When I first got to the University of Georgia, I was shocked at the number of people who came from incredibly far places such as California, New Jersey, and Texas. I am from Woodstock, Georgia, which is only about an hour and a half from Athens. In my small hometown, everyone knows everything about everyone, and Friday nights revolve around the high school football games. I am a very passionate and family oriented person. I live with my mom, dad, and my twin brother and sister. They mean absolutely everything to me. One of my biggest passions is dance. I have been a competitive dancer for sixteen years, and my mom took time out of every day to drive me to my dance practices. I trained in jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, and pointe, so it is safe to say that dance has consumed a majority of my time for my entire life. Besides dance, I was also a sideline football cheerleader. I was very passionate about cheerleading as well and lived to cheer those boys on every Friday night. Another one of my passions is helping others and my school. I was involved in several clubs throughout high school such as the Student Government Association, Relay for Life, National Honor Society, Beta Club, and the National Spanish Honor Society. I am currently a Biology major, and aspire to become a doctor. It would be a dream come true to be able to help others as a career.
