I'm an independent, "only" child that grew up in the 80's in a rural town that you had to stop and wait for ducks to cross the road. I've been told that I have an old soul.

It's a pretty cool feeling when you discover what your purpose here on earth is- what you are destined to be (at 30). I've never been that girl that has to have a man by her side, a lavish wedding, or to birth my own children to feel complete. My "complete" comes while fighting for animal rights, rescuing and rehabilitating animals, and photographing often overlooked moments in life for others to appreciate. Photography forces my otherwise cynical self to find beauty in every place I travel and each person I meet. If I am blessed with a family of my own, that will be simply be the icing on the cake.

I'm the founder of Brooke Whicher Photography as well as a "Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep" photographer. I am an animal-obsessed volunteer for the Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society & am a member of SMART- the State of MA. Animal Response Team.

I'm the co-founder of SEW Phabulous! Pet Toys & More alongside my mother, Sheila. I love to travel and plan adventures to new places. My serenity is found in Wells, Maine along a private beach called "Moody". I am slightly obsessed with finding the next best cupcake.

I work full-time in the corporate world as an account manager, engulfed in licensing & copyright. I close all of my emails with a "cheers".
