David Brown

My name is Dave. I graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2009 with Bachelor of Science in Spanish and a minor in Computer Science.

While I was at West Point, I was a decathlete for the track team, a national contender at 156 lbs for the boxing team, and a participant on our company Ultimate Frisbee team. I earned a gold German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge from the German Liason to West Point, and completed helicopter training at the University of North Dakota. After I graduated from West Point, I completed the Army Mixed Martial Arts Training Levels I and II (Blue belt in BJJ), an Ironman in South Africa, and the 100-mile ruck march in Nijmegen.

While deployed to Afghanistan, I was a team manager for 34 soldiers and a contracting officer. When I returned to Germany, I was an assistant operations manager, a team manager for 24 soldiers, an assistant logistics manager, a logistics manager, and a transportation specialist.

Since leaving the Army, teaching myself to program. I am familiar with the following languages: JavaScript, C++, and Python. I also know HTML, CSS, and Node.js.

Unfortunately, I do not have much experience programming and am working on gaining more experience.
