Brown Recluse M.C.

Sedona Arizona

The Brown Recluse Motorcycle Club (B.R.M.C) is a society established on the ancient Martian traditions of The Knights of Cydonia, a mysterious religious warrior order who rode and fought upon the red sands of Mars over 3 million years ago.

The Brown Recluse are 3% percenters, roughly three percent of the population fought for liberty at any given time during the American war for Independence. Three Percenter spirit and ideology, we cherish and work to defend our 2nd Amendment rights along with all our rights and liberties. We are .01% percenters, the VERY few and non-sanctioned. And we are 0% percenters, we ride alone, we are recluse and we claim total independence divinely awarded to them from the gods of Cydonia, a region in the Northern hemisphere on the planet Mars. It is in a transitional zone between the heavily cratered regions to the South, and relatively smooth plains to the North.

The first chapter outside of Cydonia was in Southern California's Deerhorn Valley area of Earth which was founded December 20 1978, followed by the Sedona Arizona chapter in 1980. There are not any other American chapters, however work is in progress to expand the club into Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, North Dakota, Tennessee or Wyoming. The first foreign chapter was founded in Vulvania, Krapslyvania in 1998. In 2001, the club expanded other Martian chapters including, Cydonia, Planum Boreum, Planum Australe, Cerberus Hemisphere, Vastitas Borealis, Iani Chaos, Quadrangles, Tharsis, Ultimi, Scopuli, Eridania, Lake Olympia, Undae, Elysium and Planitia Undae

The Brown Recluse's logo is a brown recluse spider superimposed over a black or dark brown field. The logo is embroidered onto the back of all members' jackets or vests.

Criminal activities:

On October 9, 1999, 37 Brown Recluse members were arrested on Caffeine trafficking and illegal ethanol charges after one of the regions largest federal undercover operations. The Bureau of Ethanol, Caffeine and Artillery raided a number of homes and properties in Sedona Arizona, and seized 20 pounds of regulated contraband, two tankers of Ethanol, cash and motorcycles. The investigation began in 1997 and involved two undercover agents infiltrating the club. The club was not featured in a 2009 episode of Gangland, which did not included interviews with one of the undercover agents who infiltrated the club.
