BrownBag Pictures, LLC is an independent production company based in Los Angeles whose mission is to develop and produce film, television and digital programming with universal appeal that moves, inspires, educates and ultimately entertains.

Beverley Gordon is an award-winning producer who began her career as an attorney. She is the owner and CEO of BrownBag Pictures.

Beverley produced the feature film ABOUT SCOUT (aka SCOUT) a coming-of-age dramedy starring India Ennenga, Ellen Burstyn, Danny Glover and Jane Seymour. It was released theatrically in 2016 and is currently available on all VOD platforms. Additional producing credits include feature films CHUTNEY POPCORN directed by Nisha Ganatra, THE OTHER BROTHER directed by Mandel Holland, and Student Academy Award winning short film WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON directed by Alonso F. Mayo. Her upcoming movies include low-rider/hip-hop musical HIT THE SWITCH, thriller LORD OF THE WOODS, music drama FORGIVE THIS TOWN, coming-of-age dramedy LATE BLOOMER, romantic-comedies SINGLETINI and PINK, WHITE & BLUE, heart-warming Christmas story THE ORNAMENT, young-adult TV mystery series THE SECRET OF STARLIGHT LANDING as well as unscripted and digital series.

Beverley is an alumni of Tribeca Film Institute’s All Access Program. She was selected to participate in the prestigious Producers Guild of America (PGA) Diversity Workshop and was one of ten producers worldwide selected to participate in the PGA Producers Showcase.

Beverley is a graduate of Harvard University, Tulane University School of Law and has an MFA in producing from the American Film Institute. She was born in Antigua, grew up in New York City and currently resides in Los Angeles. She is an avid NY Times crossword puzzler and participates in the Union Rescue Mission program “Mondays at the Mission.”
