"I can do all things through Christ who strenghtens me" (Phillipians 4:13) My name is Essence Browne I am a rising sophomore from Sanford NC. I graudated from Lee County High School, and I am 19 years old. North Carolina Central University is the best place for me, after I graduate I would like to pursue my career as a lawyer; I currently am majoring in political science. I am a firsrt generation college student, my parents did not go to college instead they joined the army. I feel as if it's my responsibility to make my family proud and to prove to everyone who doubted me that I am capable of becoming the lawyer I want to be. She has not decided what type of law she is most interested in; however, it is between criminal law and divorce law. She has a passion for justice, there are to many people who get away with the crimes they commit; and essence believes that if you commit the crime then you do the time. With divorce law the passion comes from inside her home, she sees how hard divorce is on a family; and would just like to help others who are going through the same. Essence is a very responsible individual, and if she continues to be dedicated she will pursue all her dreams and many more.
