An exciting voice new talent, his greatest strength is his vocal flexibility, allowing him to take on the challenge of bringing a wide variety of characters to life in games, visual novels, animation, machinimas and audio plays and more. He has the capability to naturally go from Low to High as it is needed for young and old characters alike, and has portrayed both heroes and villains with energy, grit, and a unique resonance. His goal is to have his voice heard on television someday in an animated series, as he has grown up watching cartoons and anime at an early age listening to actors like Tara Strong, Cree Summer, Jim Cummings, Phil LaMarr, Brian Drummond, Steven Blum and Crispin Freeman.

James started voice acting after graduating from the Art Institute of Washington in 2010. Though he studied the Media Arts and Animation program there, he took courses that allowed him to utilize acting for animation and video editing as well, giving him a foundation to build upon on his own.James began to audition for various projects through online avenues like the Voice Acting Alliance while working full and part time jobs in order to develop his skills, often posting his work on YouTube and Facebook. As he became more noticed throughout the amateur voice acting community, he became scouted for original and fan-made productions often, such as audio plays or voice over as well.

He became the primary voice-over artist for VG Boot Camp (Video Game Boot Camp), a leading Live-Streamer and Content Creator for Competitive Super Smash Bros. and Traditional Fighting Games. His voice can be heard on YouTube as the voice announcer for the series, "The Weekly Smash 4 Update."

In 2013, James, along with several other voice actors, joined together on Tumblr and formed the "104th Voice Squad," a troupe that creates audio content for fans of animation. He also joined Voiceiyuu, an independent talent agency and production team of aspiring and professional voice over artists, and created their new logo.
