Nia Cheney

Nia Cheney is a Howard University Alumni currently working at Gannett Company, Inc. She has worked in the media field for over five years and had the privilege of working at some of the most globally recognizable and prestigious companies. After Nia received her A.A. in the field of Mass Communications from Prince George's Community College she was accepted to Howard University where she studied Broadcast Journalism. While attending Howard University Nia had the opportunity to work at CBS Radio, Viacom BET, The Hilltop newspaper, TV One Digital Media department, On-Air Personality for WHBC 830 AM, and Sony Music Entertainment as a College Marketing Representative. Post college Nia worked as a contributing reporter and photojournalist for online newspaper The Christian Post.

Nia is currently interested in positions in the field of multimedia journalism, segment/show host, producing, directing, entertainment journalism, and travel writing.
