Once upon a time in 1993, I built a Web site for a guy named Ted Leonsis. We also worked on the first multimedia shopping CD-ROM and other cool new media projects. The work by the team Ted assembled at Redgate set the stage for a merger with America Online in 1994. I helped create AOL's advertising sales business in 1995-96.

I have been blessed to work with many visionaries, experts, gifted leaders, and passionate entrepreneurs, and have learned as much as I can from each of them. My satisfaction comes from working at both the highest levels of strategy and in the tactical details of operational effectiveness. I enjoy working in organizations that pursue both profit and a higher purpose. I strive to create as much value as I can, in whatever ways possible, for the people and organizations around me.

I am passionate about family and faith, Alabama Crimson Tide football (love that red and white umbrella!), and FullSteam Beer (Durham, NC).

I currently oversee corporate communications, internal IT, and real estate at a federal government IT contractor -- helping to grow and differentiate the firm from the Boeing's, Northrop Grumman's, and Booz Allen's of the world. Citizant is delivering value to federal agencies by helping to transform the way they serve and protect U.S. citizens.
