He is the "problem" solver, or better known as a fixer. Bruce's experience is probably the most unusual in it's path and levels of success he has attained in them. His father started and owns a construction company, Cooley Plastering Co. Inc. where he learned a tremendous amount about the entire construction industry. He enlisted the US Navy Reserve in 1987, originally to help him pay for college, as a Quartermaster (QM-Navigators Assistant). This segment of his experience ended up being a major driver in Bruce's life as he was able to contribute and lead in ways that he had not conceived of before. In May 2012, Bruce retired from the US Navy Reserve with 2 tours in the combat zones, and numerous other deployments, and as a Lieutenant Commander Navy Supply Corps (Logistics).

His main focus in his civilian career has been in the investment finance industry, where he has been since 1991. Bruce has worked in almost every position imaginable...from retail rep, to and Manager Fixed Income Trading, and has shown an upward scale of success in this area of expertise.

A Graduate of California State University San Bernardino with his degree in history, he went on to study for and pass his Series 7 and 63 licenses. From 1991 to 1994 he worked as a retail/individual investment rep with varying degrees of success. He also holds the Series 24, and Series 53 licenses as well as the CA L & D Insurance license.

In 1995, Bruce embarked on a 2 year program to get his MBA at the , where he completed it in 1997.
