Bruce Richardson

Bruce Richardson is a tea blender, writer, and speaker who has helped grow America's vibrant tea culture since 1990. He is the author of 14 books on tea, including The New Tea Companion and The Social History of Tea, both with London's Jane Pettigrew.
You can read his Perfect Cup column in every edition of TeaTime magazine. In 2012, Bruce was named Tea Master for the new Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum.
Bruce is a frequent guest speaker at tea and cultural events across the globe, including World Tea Expo, the North American Jane Austen Society, the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum and Monticello.
Bruce is the owner of Elmwood Inn Fine Teas, based in Danville, Kentucky. He has designed private label tea blends for the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, the Boston MFA and numerous historic venues across America.
