Bruce Reilly is graduating from Tulane Law School with a focus on intellectual property and entertainment law. As a writer and artist himself, he recognizes the balance between creators and the industry and is perfectly situated for aggressive negotiation. Furthermore, he seeks a top flight literary agent to negotiate his screenplays.
Bruce honed his expertise of criminal law prior to law school, while helping fellow prison inmates- including taking a case to the U.S. Supreme Court. Upon his release, he became a catalyst for systemic policy changes, including writing the state constitutional amendment that restored his own voting rights. His recent research, report, and organizing efforts regarding public housing and criminal convictions has led to a national model being implemented in New Olreans.
Bruce is currently open to opportunities in NOLA, NYC, LA, and a few other select locations. He is considering positions in the film, music and sports industries. Whether employed in the arena of civil rights and social justice, he will continue to donate his time towards building healthier communities.
Those interested in Bruce Reilly's creativity, knowledge, and work ethic are generally not deterred by his background. He has won awards for his writing, filmmaking, and organizing. His secret to "thinking outside the box" is that he spent extensive time in a box few have survived. Certainly very few who have a law degree.
