Bruce Adams

While training initially as an actor I set up my theatre company and trained as a director at Middlesex University.

I specialise in contemporary text-based work and am interested in collaborative, multi-disciplinary practice. I position my practice on the overlap between performance and design processes. In my work I am keen to explore how the theatrical form reflects the substance and subject matter of the performance.

I currently work with the Theatre Arts team at Middlesex University School of Media and Performing Arts. I am also a widely experienced youth worker, and continue to work extensively in youth theatre and drama outreach.
