Bruce Dow SAG

An employee benefits executive with over 30 years of experience, Bruce Dow most recently served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Screen Actors Guild's (SAG) Producers Pension and Health Plans. As head of a nearly 3 Billion dollar fund that supports benefits programs for the nation's largest performers' labor union, Mr. Dow was instrumental in substantially increasing revenues and developed innovative cost cutting processes, while also providing exceptional benefits for actors and their families. While playing a central role in the organization, Bruce Dow oversaw 200 employees and the processing of 50,000 insurance claims each month. Improvements implemented during his time as a company executive, such as the age and service benefit that protects actors' spouses in the event of death before retirement, continue to benefit SAG members.

Prior to his position with SAG, Bruce Dow worked as the Fund Manager of the Southern California-based Painters Trust Fund, where he oversaw benefits and pensions for unionized painters. He has also spent time at the Oregon Department of Revenue as a Budget and Financial Analyst. During his time there, he developed workshops designed to educate financial professionals on maintaining budgets in compliance with Oregon State law. Mr. Dow has served on a number of Boards, including various health insurance organizations.

Mr. Dow, who holds degrees in both accounting and sociology from Southern Oregon State University, supports a variety of philanthropic efforts. He is dedicated to Win Our World International, the Oasis of Hollywood, and various other ministries. In his spare time, he enjoys renovating homes and playing golf.
