A graduate of the University of Arizona, Bruce K. Long has held numerous leadership positions in the media and entertainment technology fields over the past two decades. One of his first executive positions was as the president of Encore Video, where he supervised all business development and creative services for a prominent post-production and visual effects company. In 1999, Bruce K. Long joined Technicolor in the position of Executive Vice President of Strategic Planning and Business Development.

After a two-year tenure with National Lampoon as president and executive producer, Bruce K. Long returned to the post-production technology field when he took a position as Chief Executive Officer of Iconix Technology in Hollywood, California. In this role, he led a company that provided 2D and 3D technology for hundreds of projects for film studios and commercial clients.

In 2008, Bruce K. Long founded Next Element LLC, a post-production software firm that counted major studios such as Disney and Paramount among its clients. Since selling the company in 2010, he has founded and led several other technology companies. He is currently the CEO of BeBop Technology, a pioneer in the cloud-based post-production workflow space.
