I've spent the last fifteen years telling stories and - perhaps more importantly - helping people tell theirs.

I moved to the BBC after a decade in commercial radio.

Variety drives me - from writing and reading news national and international news one minute, to reporting on a breaking story or co-presenting one of Scotland's most listened-to news and current affairs shows.

I also write for magazines and press, host events and act as a media coach.
