Dr. Bruce Moskowitz: As a child, Dr. Moskowitz had an early experience that shaped his future career. At the age of eight years, he suffered an orbital floor fracture and required delicate surgery to repair his injuries. The extraordinary care he received allowed for a full recovery and set a path for his future profession.
Dr. Moskowitz received his B.S. from Wesleyan University in 1983. In 1987 he received his M.D. from SUNY Downstate Medical School. Dr. Moskowitz then went on to a residency in Ophthalmology. He continued post-doctoral training in Oculoplastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary. The doctor is an active member of the Oculoplastic and Reconstructive Service there and maintains his private practice at the Infirmary. Dr. Moskowitz is also an active member of the ENT/Otolaryngology and Cosmetic Plastic Surgery programs at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary teaching residents and fellows. In addition, Dr. Moskowitz has lectured extensively here and abroad and is the author of numerous articles and book chapters. His practice encompasses all areas of Oculoplastic, Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery and he performs approximately 400 major cases and hundreds of office procedures each year. Additionally, he has administered thousands of Botox and facial filler injections over the last 21 years.
His early experience as a patient and his excellent outcome, has resulted in a passion for patient care and surgical excellence. Dr. Moskowitz is driven to have the best of both function and beauty.
