Bruno Villetelle
Chief Digital Officer and Global Head of Data Digital in Blonay, Switzerland
Bruno Villetelle spent his formative years in France where he attended school at the Université Claude Bernard—earning a Master of Science in both Business Systems Management (MIAG) and Industrial Organization & Methodology (DESS)—as well as the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers in Paris—earning a Master of Engineering in Enterprise Inf. Systems (DEST).
In the mid 1990's, Bruno Villetelle settled into a small town in Switzerland, which he has considered home ever since.
If earning duel citizenship in France and Switzerland wasn't enough, Villetelle's professional life inspired further travel, especially to Japan and the United States. Bruno Villetelle served as the Chief Digital Officer for Takeda Pharmaceuticals, an international pharmaceutical company with roots in Japan. This role required him to be available wherever he could make an impact on the growing role of digital health within our health landscape. This demand allowed Villetelle to travel extensively, always to return to his beloved home in Blonay.
After serving at Takeda Pharmeceuticals, Bruno transitioned to Switzerland-based Novartis, where he is the Global Head of Data & Digital.
In his free time, Villetelle enjoys watching American sports, playing squash, or jogging. And of course, he cherishes every moment he gets to spend with his wonderful wife and family.
He tries to incorporate his family in his travels as much as possible. When he can't bring them along, he still makes a point to embrace every culture for their unique perspective, their food, their history, and their art, wherever he visits.
Bruno Villetelle has been lucky enough to spend time in Greece, Japan, Dubai, Miami, Thailand, New York, San Francisco, and many other cities and countries around the world. Exploring their differences, as much as their similarities, has given him a diverse set of interpersonal experiences most do not have the opportunity to achieve.
Due to his ample time spent every year in the air and on the tarmac, BrunoVilletelle has developed a passion for both for movies and books. He uses this time, speeding past each city filled with people going about their lives, to gain as much knowledge about the world as he can to better inform his work, his life, and his choices. He is always welcoming of new recommendations.
