Bruno Amezcua's initial fascination with film and visual arts was deeply rooted in his early years, guided by his grandfather's teachings, a distinguished film editor during the mid-20th century. This early mentorship instilled in him a profound appreciation for film production and the arts, sparking a lifelong passion for storytelling. This passion led him to pursue an education focused on the arts, setting the stage for a successful 15-year career in various creative projects.

Bruno has made notable contributions to the film industry, notably recognized for his work on major projects like "Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3" (2023), “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2” (2011), "Next Gen" (2018), and "Maya and the Three" (2021). His expertise spans several key areas, including CG camera and photography, storyboarding, classic illustration, and artistic drawing. As a Hispanic-Canadian animator and camera unit director, he excels in crafting visuals that enhance narrative storytelling, bringing filmmakers' visions to life, and fostering collaborative creativity.

Bruno's journey was educationally enriched at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana in Mexico City, where he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts. He further refined his artistic skills at the Museo Gregorio Prieto in Ciudad Real, Spain, a hub for creative inspiration with a collection that includes works by Picasso and other Spanish masters. His academic achievements continued in Ontario, Canada, at the Centennial College of Fine Arts and Technology, where he graduated with honors in 2008, receiving accolades for his outstanding performance as an international student.

His roles have ranged from previsualization and camera direction to animation and lighting, collaborating with top-tier studios like Blue Sky, Disney, Marvel, Netflix, and Amazon. His work has brought him critical acclaim, including multiple recognitions at the 2017 Daytime Emmy Awards for his diverse roles in the production of "Lost in OZ: Extended Adventure."
