Bruno Tertrais
Political analyst in Paris, France
Most of the time, I am Deputy Director of the Paris-based Fondation pour la recherche stratégique (Foundation for Strategic Research), a leading, independent French think-tank working for the French government, allied governements and private companies. I'm also a Senior Associate Fellow at Institut Montaigne.
I focus on geopolitics, international security, crises and conflicts, but I also write (on my personal time) on demography, human progress, catastrophism and other topics. I was trained as a lawyer and a political scientist, but I'm happy to be considered just as a political analyst.
The rest of the time, I'm also a reasonably good guitar player in a rock band, a pianist (beginner), a skier, and a photographer.
The rest is private.
