Bryana Davenport

Hello. My name is Bryana Davenport and I am a senior at Quinnipiac University studying Criminal Justice (major) and Women's studies (minor). I have recently been accepted in to the Master's of Communication Program at Quinnipiac University where I will pursue my masters in Public Relations. My goal is to incorporate my skills from PR with my future law degree to help better prepare me to be the best lawyer that I can be.

Currently, I am interning with New Haven criminal defense attorney Benita Lee where I have had the chance to work hands on with clients, conduct interviews, draft requests and reports as well as create jury instructions and questions. This internship has given me the opportunity to grow as a young woman and has further prepared me to be a great lawyer in the future.

I am passionate about changing the criminal justice system not only through policies but through social structures to create a more equal, fair and just system for all people. With these valuable experiences and skills, I will pursue my future of success as a lawyer and advocate for my community.
