I thought that I was going to be a ski bum. I assumed that I could survive off tips and dumpster bread from the local bakery. The free bagels and the ski industry will teach you real quick, that if you want to "make it", you gotta spend your extra pennies on good cream cheese and new ski gear. Now, my skis are in the closet and I have to beg to get a day off for a possible powder day. My choice.
