Bryan Guidry

I am the owner and operator of North Broadway Jiu Jitsu in St. Louis, MO. A black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, I won the 2010 World Championships in Rio de Janeiro. I graduated from the Missouri University of Science and Technology with a degree in chemical engineering. After working several years in engineering I dedicated myself full-time to my passion, martial arts and personal training. Undefeated as a mixed martial artist with 8 fights from 1999-2003, the left side of my face was completely reconstructed with titanium after my last fight. After this, I decided to focus on Jiu Jitsu only. In 2006, I started North Broadway Jiu Jitsu in an abandoned warehouse 1 mile north of the St. Louis Arch. My team has a record of 25-2 in 4 years of MMA fighting. North Broadway has produced 3 novice division jiu jitsu world champions. In 2009, I produced the Fight Fit training system. My fitness system is used 50 countries and the DVD is available on amazon.com. Daily workouts are published at www.FightFit.tv. I reached the pinnacle of my career in 2010, winning the Jiu Jitsu world championships in Brazil. I began designing and importing training gear for my team in 2010. Unhappy with the gaudy designs that exist for Jiu Jitsu and MMA, my goal is to capture the essence of what martial artists believe and why we train within the designs without losing the functionality of the gear itself.
