I have discovered that one thing I can count on in this life is my family.

My first memory of school was the first day of going to elementary school in Chongming Elementary in Taiwan. It was a bilingual school. I felt nervous because I didn't know anybody there. In elementary school, the teacher that has the most influence on me was my third grade teacher, Mrs.Weber. She had a positive influence because I just cam from Taiwan to California, and she was nice and made me feel welcome. One example was when it was my first week, she made everyone be nicer to me. When I was in first and second grade, my friends were a guy called George Huang and Irene Chou. We were great friends because we get along really well. Now my friend is Ryan Han. We met in the middle of 4th grade because we were riding on the same bus home. I wasn't really bullied in school, but in Chongming, I did see some bullying. But then I did nothing about it because I was only in first grade and I thought it was ok.

In my family there are my dad, my mom, and me. My dad has a nice personality and more patient than my mom. He likes long distance running and works as an engineer. My mom is less patient and more straight foward. She stays at home and do home stuff. My parents "words of wisdom" is to do better in school and don't skip school. This is important because skipping school means you will get bad grades.

I am usually a happy and easy going guy. I don't get mad or sad easily and I am patient most of the time. I get distracted easily so it is hard for me to focus. I don't usually plan, instead, I improvise. I like to swim and I play the piano. I learned that in life there can be tough choices, but you still have to move on. What I would like to change about my personality is I want to be able to plan because sometimes when you improvise, it could be what you didn't want. To get along with other people, you need to respect them and don't be like a meanie to them. To get along with life, you need to enjoy it and don't do things that is not right.

In the future of middle school, I would try my best to understand everything and get good grades, and I would do the same thing in high school. After high school, hopefully I could get into a college and get a career I enjoy. To obtain these goals, I need to start now.
