Bryan Schaaf is an independent humanitarian consultant with years of experience supporting programs that protect and assist refugees, internally displaced persons, and vulnerable migrants.

Bryan has volunteered for many different organisations including Peace Corps, Peace Corps Friends of Haiti, the American Red Cross, Haiti Micah Project, PAZAPA, and Chirikli.

Bryan enjoys writing about humanitarian and other issues. He is the founder of Haiti Innovation, which is a blog and non profit consultancy devoted to development-related issues in Haiti. Created by former Peace Corps Volunteers, the Haiti Innovation team offers technical expertise and in depth knowledge of Haitian developmental challenges and solutions.

Bryan also writes about Rotary and Philanthropy issues, Old Town Alexandria where he lived when in the United States, and meaningful conversations between rideshare drivers and passengers.

Bryan Schaaf is a proud member of Rotary International and he is the former President of the Rotary Club of Dupont Circle in Washington DC. He belongs to Rotary Action Groups for Mental Health, Peace and Conflict Resolution, and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH).
