An Associate Professor at the Indiana University (IU) School of Medicine and a physician with the Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Cancer Center, Bryan Schneider, M.D., is a respected teacher, mentor, and leader in the field of breast cancer research. Living and working in the greater Indianapolis, Indiana, community, Bryan Schneider holds appointments in the Divisions of Hematology/Oncology and Clinical Pharmacology in the Department of Medicine at IU and holds an appointment in the Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics. Currently involved in several clinical trials, Dr. Schneider is working on the cutting edge of breast cancer research.

Throughout his career, Dr. Bryan Schneider has received several awards, including merit awards from the American Society of Clinical Oncology Cancer Foundation in 2002 and 2003 and a Career Development Award in 2006. He was also awarded the Paul Carbone, M.D., Fellowship Award from the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group Research and Education Foundation. A sought after speaker on a variety of topics, Dr. Schneider has offered his expertise to the community of Indianapolis. He has spoken for Camp Blue Bird, The Wellness Community, Holy Angels Church, Valley Mills Christian Church, and the Breast Cancer Survivor's Group from Terre Haute.

Dr. Bryan Schneider received his medical training at Indiana University in Indianapolis. He earned his Doctor of Medicine in 1999 from the School of Medicine and trained in internal medicine during his internship and residency. He also received a fellowship appointment in the Department of Hematology/Oncology during his time at Indiana University. Additionally Dr. Schneider earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Evansville in Indiana.
