Featuring 7 billion people across 7 continents, Earth is a sensational sphere comprised of an astonishing wealth and diversity of climates, cultures, & customs; landscapes, languages, & living things. Our world has been mapped by countless individuals throughout history, yet there are always new and innovative ways of seeing and showcasing the people, places, and other phenomena that comprise our magnificent world.

I have always had a passion for building relationships with people and enjoyed concepts of math, art, writing, and design. Yet even more so, I have possessed a desire to learn about, travel to, and explore places where I have never been.

The combination of these interests has led me to pursue a career in geography, particularly within the field of cartography.

I seek an opportunity to implement the passions I have possessed, the experiences I have gained, the skills I have acquired and the ideas that I have contemplated into this intriguing field.

I hope to contribute to the geographic community by designing maps to function as both visual displays of data, informing others on how phenomena relate in a spatial manner, and as pieces of art, reflecting the beautiful design and wonder of planet Earth.
