Bryant K aka Bryant K Steward has been active on the New York City scene since the mid 90's. As a taste making dj he was the first to rock a Monday night slot from 6-8 on East Village Radio with a show called B-Sides. Later he ventured off on a 3 year hiatus to make his own mark in music. He traveled to the Czech Republic where he became the first musician in residence at the international artist atelier program Meetfactory in Prague. There he locked himself in an artist studio for several months to work with seven different artists from all over the world producing a catalog of songs for his Artworks Music Design Group and a project called "Art for the Public." His next stop would be Berlin where he created his solo project "Lo Fi Soul Record," an imperfect approach to a perfect R&B world. On returning to the states he released his first world wide single on Stonesthrow Records "Daisies Grow b/w Stars" from his Lo Fi Soul Record. His outside the box approach is there to innovate and inspire new ideas, while fully expressing his soul and exploring the freedom that's meant to be in music.
