I made the move to AOL at then end of 2014 when MapQuest decided to close their Lancaster, PA office. I currently work on their Internal Dev Ops (IDO) team developing and supporting a lot of the processes that we took for granted while at MQ (we were consumers of the existing internal processes).

I joined the MapQuest development team in 2007. I worked in various areas of the backend systems (from search to data ingestion) that power MapQuest.com. I headed up the development team that was responsible for ingesting all of the feeds necessary to produce the set of points of interest (POIs) MapQuest users interact with everyday. Prior to joining MapQuest, I spent 10 years working as a software engineer for Penske Truck Leasing working on their backend and web based systems.
