I love to travel. I've been to many different countries, all for different reasons. My most recent trip was a sixteen day backpacking trip in Europe with four friends. We went to Munich, Prague, Vienna, and Budapest. Learning about the different cultures, traditions, and holidays in each country is something I find very interesting. Exploring how and why each country is different from one another helps me understand the different cultures and people of this world. Travelling allows me to do that. It allows people to connect to the world in a way they never could before. My favorite trip was when I went camping with three other high school friends in North Carolina. This trip was in the middle of the school year and would take up the entire weekend, so I knew it would be risky with schoolwork and everything else going on. However, it acted as a retreat for me. I became extremely close to my friends on this trip and four of us ended up in college together. Our trip was extremely fun, while we faced challenges like starting the fire and not having enough food, we realized that being around people we like is way more meaningful. Travelling the world with people you enjoy to be around is the best way to become even closer with them and develop life ling friendships.
