SportPursuit exists to inspire people to discover the world's best sports gear, all at unbeatable members only prices. I'm responsible for building the most exciting sports retail brand in the UK, along with growing the business in the UK and Internationally.

In my spare time i'm a narrowboat dweller and owner at www.lajugie.co.uk with @cliowood.

Previously part of the founding team responsible for building eHarmony into the UK's biggest & most successful matchmaking site, initially as Marketing Director & latterly as UK MD. I also led the company's entry into Brazil in 2010.

I founded my own business in 2008, an SMS based system that allowed people to order food and drink using their mobile phone.

Before that I was a strategy consultant, advising private equity companies like Apax, CVC and Goldman Sachs on their investments during the boom years.

I'm still an analyst and a problem solver at heart. I love "white space" problems; being part of talented teams that launch, build and expand consumer internet businesses into new areas and countries.
